Who should attend the MAS Program?
Eligible Texas middle school teachers in teams of 2 or 4 should complete the online application.

Two-member teams should consist of a math and science teacher from the same school.

Four-member teams should consist of a math, science, language arts, and social studies teacher from the same school. A School Administrator may be substituted for the social studies or language arts teacher in a Team of four.

Eligible Teachers Must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be a certified teacher in the state of Texas
  • Be currently teaching full time in an accredited Texas middle school
  • Currently be a Texas middle school teacher
  • Currently be residing in the state of Texas
  • Have previous teaching experience -- 3 years preferred
  • Apply online as a team of 2 or 4 from the same school
